On Wednesday, 11-23-11, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department investigated a Burglary and Theft to a shed in the W5300 Block of County Road N in the Town of Lyndon that occurred overnight.  The property stolen included a red Chilton Single Axle Utility Trailer that was parked outside and an assortment of power tools from inside the shed.  These power tools included a DeWalt brand Table Saw, Planer, and Jointer; Black and Decker brand Circular Saw and Jig Saw; Milwaukee brand Welder and Belt Sander; Chicago brand Jointer; Rigid brand Skill Saw; ½ horsepower Air Compressor; various Parts and Tools including Router Bits; and a Stereo System with CD Player and Speakers.

On Tuesday, 11-15-11, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department investigated a Theft of a black 2004 Felling Trailer equipped with ramps, a 2001 Gehl Skid Steer, model # 46355XT, and 2  Mikasa Plate Compactors from Stecker Construction, N2550 County Road A in the Town of Holland.  The theft occurred sometime between Tuesday, 11-08-11 and Thursday, 11-10-11.

On Wednesday, 10-05-11, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department investigated a Burglary and Theft to a barn in the N4600 block of State Highway 57 in which live electrical copper wiring and fixtures were ripped from the walls and stolen.  Additionally, extension cords, a battery charger, and a 33 gallon galvanized garbage can were also stolen in this incident.  A second burglary and theft to the same barn was investigated on Saturday, 10-22-11 in which a stainless steel wash sink was ripped and stolen from a wall in the milk house and a sledgehammer was stolen.

On Saturday morning, 10-22-11, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department investigated a Theft of Firearms and other items from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of East Shore Drive in Random Lake.  Stolen from inside the unlocked vehicle were a Century Arms Wasar 10 Rifle, a Colt Model 1911 .45 Caliber Handgun, Ammunition for the firearms, a SRK Knife, a MacBook Notebook Computer, a set of Sony V6 Headphones and a Backpack containing assorted books and notebooks.

On Saturday morning, 10-15-11, between 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM, there was collision between 2 vehicles near the intersection of County Road V and County Road I in the Town of Lima near Kim’s 5 Corners Tavern.  One of the vehicles fled the scene and it is described as late model Kia vehicle, black in color, with damage to the passenger side.  The passenger side outside rear-view mirror broke off the vehicle and was left at the scene.

On Friday, October 6, 2011 at approximately 8:30 PM, the El Durango Store at 1035 Indiana Ave., in the City of Sheboygan was the site of an Attempted Armed Robbery. The owners of that business were preparing to close the store when a male subject wearing blue jeans, a dark colored jacket with a hood and a ski mask entered the store through the northwest entrance door.  The suspect then displayed a small black handgun, pointed it at the owner and demanded money.  After asking for money several times, the suspect left the store without any money and was last seen fleeing the location southbound on S. 11th St. The suspect is believed to be a thin white male, approx. 5 foot 10 inches to 6 feet tall.  He has dark eyes and dark eyebrows.

On Sunday, 10-02-11, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department investigated vandalism to a wooden sign on the property of the Sheboygan Islamic Center, 9110 Sauk Trail Rd in the Town of Wilson, that occurred between Friday, 09-30-11 and Saturday, 10-01-11.   This is the second act of vandalism that has occurred on the property this past year.  The previous incident involved a rock being thrown through a window on 06-05-10.

On Sunday, 08-28-11, the Sheboygan Police and Sheboygan Fire Departments responded to and investigated a fire at 1627 N. 7th St. in Sheboygan.  A small fire was located on the outside of the home at that location.  All of the residents were able to evacuate without suffering any injury and summon the Sheboygan Fire Department.  Fire damage to the home was minimal, but the investigation revealed that the fire was intentionally set.

On Friday, 09-02-11 and Monday, 09-12-11, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department investigated 2 separate reported Thefts of Stainless Steel Valves and Parts and a Theft of 2 Rigid Cordless Hammer Drills and an 18 Volt Cordless Sawzall from the Cascade Cheese Co., 302 E. Water St. in Cascade.  The total loss from both thefts is approximately $8,000.

On Saturday, 08-27-11 at 1:45 P.M., the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department investigated a residential burglary and theft of firearms and jewelry in the W2800 Blk of County Road V in the Town of Lima that occurred between Wednesday, 08-24-11 and Saturday, 08-27-11.  Three firearms were stolen, including a Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun, a Ruger, Model 1022, .22 caliber stainless steel rifle with a black stock and scope, and a British, .303 caliber rifle with a camouflage finish.  Additionally, various articles of jewelry and silver certificates were stolen.

On Sunday, 08-14-11 at 9:00 P.M., the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department responded to a report of an Armed Robbery at the Random Self-Serve, 790 Wolf Rd. in Random Lake.  The gas station had just closed at 9:00 P.M. when the female  employee was robbed while carrying a bank bag containing several hundred dollars to her car, was approached by the suspect, who was wielding a knife and demanded money.  The suspect then fled on foot southbound on Random Lake Rd.  The suspect is described as a male white approximately 6 feet tall with a small to medium build and he had his face covered to conceal his identity.

On Saturday, 08-06-11, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department investigated a report of an unlawful entry and vandalism to a home in the N2500 block of County Road S in the Town of Mitchell.  The suspects caused extensive damage to the inside of the home, including the furnishings and using spray paint to write graffiti on several walls throughout the home.  Approximately $10,000.00 damage was caused.

Type of Crime: Firearm Discharge causing Damage to a Vehicle

 

On 07-31-11 at approximately 11:30 am , Sheboyan Police were requested to respond to a residence in the 2100 block of Wedemeyer Street for a damage to property complaint.  Officers met with the complainant, a 46 year old male from Sheboygan, who stated that he had discovered a suspected bullet hole in the driver side rear quarter panel of his vehicle.  The complainant stated that the vehicle had been parked on the street outside his residence the prior night and believed this must have occurred between 2:30 am and 6:am.  Police did recover evidence that substantiated that a bullet did strike the complainants vehicle.  It was learned that a single loud bang had been heard by neighbors in the early morning hours and it appears the round was directed at this vehicle.

On Monday, 07/25/11, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a Theft of a 1989 Mercury Long Shaft 50 Horsepower Outboard Motor, black in color, along with the throttle controls and cables and a 6 gallon gasoline tank and hose from a boat displayed for sale on the SE corner of Bridgewood Rd. and State Highway 23. The theft occurred during the overnight hours after the suspects moved the boat into a nearby wooded area to remove the equipment.

On Wednesday, 06-22-11, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a burglary and theft from a garage that occurred in the 1000 block of N. 38th St. in the Town of Sheboygan some time between Monday evening 06-20-11 and Wednesday morning, 06-22-11.   The property stolen included, a John Deere Sabre riding lawn mower, Troy Built wood chipper, cast iron wood stove, iron kettles, camping equipment, an 8 x 10 Menards utility trailer, older green air compressor and doors.

On Monday, 06-13-11, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department received a report of graffiti spray-painted on the new overpass under construction on I-43 at Superior Ave. in the Town of Sheboygan.  The graffiti was applied with black and white spray paint on the overpass walls beneath I-43 at Superior Ave. and depicted stick figures, a flower symbol, and the word and phrases, “Swindle”, “Swindle Gang”, “KME” and “Blunt”.  An older model brown car with rectangular tail lights with 3 juveniles was seen in the area at approximately 2:00 A.M. on Monday morning, 06-13-11.

The Suspect(s) forcibly entered the home and garage and stole a 12 foot aluminum V-hull boat, without a motor, and the trailer; fishing equipment; and numerous wood-working hand and power tools, including power nailers, a sawzall, Wolfcraft and Delta brand miter saws, a Dremel Tool Set, a chainsaw, a Honda Air Compressor, a shopvac and a gray 50 gallon garbage can.

On April 5, 2011 at approximately 6:25 pm a home invasion style burglary was reported to Sheboygan Falls Police. It was reported that a 52 year-old, female resident was home alone when an unknown male suspect forced his way into the residence after knocking on the door. The male suspect restrained the victim and fled the residence with personal property belonging to her. Taken during the incident was a small framed revolver type handgun and medication. The suspect is describe to be a Hispanic Male with short, dark hair, stocky build, and some type of "swirl" tattoo on left side of neck. The suspect then fled in a maroon 4 door car with black striping on the sides.

On Sunday, March 6, 2011 at approximately 12:45 am, a male party was robbed in the area of the alley between Frontier and the Plymouth Library on Division Street. The victim was pushed down to the ground by two young male individuals wearing dark sweatshirts and possibly baseball caps. No weapons appeared to be used in the commission of the crime, and the suspects were last seen leaving the scene on foot heading north on Division Street. Among the items taken was a blue leather wallet that contained cash.

On Sunday, March 6, 2011 at approximately 8:30 pm, the Cousins Sub Shop at 2139 S. Business Drive was robbed by a male white.  An undisclosed amount of money was taken at gun point.  The suspect is described as a white male, slightly darker skin tone, 6ft. to 6 ft.3inches in height, 180 – 210 lbs. with a brown goatee (somewhat spotty), scruffy facial hair elsewhere, brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black stocking cap.  Suspect displayed a gun while demanding money.

The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department has investigated multiple daytime home burglaries that occurred from September of 2010 through February of 2011 in the Village of Cedar Grove.   In each home that was targeted, the residents left home for a period of time, leaving the home unlocked, and cash was stolen.

On Sunday, November 14th at 8:20 PM, the Cousin's Subs Shop located at 2139 S. Business Dr. in Sheboygan was robbed by two unknown subjects. Two men wearing mostly dark clothes entered the store and initially posed as customers. One of the men put on a ski mask and went behind the counter taking a substantial amount of money. The first man is described as possibly being in his 20's, 5'11 to 6'00, with a thin build, while the other appeared to be slightly older and heavier. The suspects did not display a weapon and fled in an unknown direction.

On January 24, 2011, the Plymouth Police Dept. took a report of a theft of a 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 SLT Pick-up Truck, silver in color, and equipped with dual rear tires from the sales lot at Chuck Van Horn Dodge in Plymouth, WI.  It is believed the keys were inadvertently left in the vehicle prior to the theft that occurred between January 19 and January 24, 2011.

On Sunday, December 27, 2010 through Monday, January 10, 2001, the Sheboygan Falls Police Department has taken several report of Criminal Damage to Property throughout the City.  It is believed that unknown person(s) have used a sling shot to project bb’s or a blue glass bead’s to break windows to businesses, homes and vehicles.  To damage is estimated to be in excess of $6000.00.

On November 30th, 1988, 75 year old Edward and 73 year old Frances Cizauskas were found murdered at their Town of Sheboygan property.  The couple ran a scrap metal business called Eddie's Jalopy Jungle which was on the same property as their residence, located at 2215 Mill Rd. 

Authorities feel confident that the subjects responsible for these murders have talked to people who have information and have either not been asked or were reluctant previously to provide that information.  The Sheriff's Department is asking for those people to do the right thing and come forward with this information.
