On Friday, January 22nd the Sheboygan Police Department took a report of a residential burglary in the 4000 block of S. 15th Street. Force was used to gain entry to the home and an alert neighbor noticed an open door and contacted Police.  Taken in the burglary was a laptop computer, ipod, money, digital camera, digital video camera, Visio 32” TV, ATT&T U-Verse receiver, and a Wii video game console including games.

On Monday, January 18th the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Dept. took a report of a theft to Sheboygan Yamaha located at N7402 State Highway 42 in the Town of Mosel.  A trailer parked on the property was taken sometime between Saturday, January 16th at 1 PM, and Monday, January 18th at 830 AM.  The trailer taken was identified as a single axle straight front 10 FT by 8 FT wood and aluminum tilt Triton Trailer with a wishbone tongue.

On Thursday, December 31st the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Dept. took a report of a theft of a snowmobile/ATV trailer from a residential property located at N6882 State Highway 32 in the Town of Sheboygan Falls.  On either Wednesday, December 30th or Thursday, December 31st the trailer was taken from the from yard area of the house.  The trailer was identified as a Chilton Easy load 8 ½ ft X 14 ft V-nose, 3 place, tandem axle snowmobile/ATV trailer with a salt shield.

On Saturday, November 21st the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Dept. took a report of a burglary to a residence.  A side by side condominium located at 1530 Nutmeg Ct in the Town of Sheboygan was entered sometime overnight on Friday, November 20th into Saturday, November 21st.  Two Televisions and a set of golf clubs were stolen.  The set of  golf clubs included Callaway irons, Taylor drivers, and were in a red and black Datrek bag.

On Sunday, September 13th and Tuesday, September 15th the Elkhart Lake Police Dept. took reports of Criminal Damage to unoccupied parked vehicles.  In the early morning hours of Sunday, September 13th a 1984 Black Chevy Corvette was found damaged by a cinder block in the 100 block of Chicago St. On Tuesday, September 15th a 1994 Blue Chevy Caprice parked in the 200 Block of East Rhine St was reported to have damage from a large rock that occurred between Saturday, Nov. 12th and Tuesday, Nov.15th.  These incidents occurred approx. a block apart, are similar in nature, and are believed to be related.

On Tuesday, September 8th the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Dept. took a report of a theft from Larry’s Sewer and Water located at N7418 State Highway 42 located in the Town of Sheboygan.  Sometime over the Labor Day weekend starting the evening of Thursday, September 3rd until Tuesday morning, September 8th someone came onto the property and removed 3 rotating amber warning lights that were equipped to the tops of vehicles. Two of the lights were Target Tech Highlighter single amber rotating lights, and the third was a double amber warning light bar containing two rotating lights.

On Monday, September 7th the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Dept. took a report of an attempted burglary to the Sportsman’s Bar & Grill located at 436 S Main St. in the Village of Cedar Grove.  In the early morning hours of September 7th between 1 A.M. and 9 A.M. there was an attempted forced entry to this building.  It is not known what occurred to stop the completion of the act and the subject, or subjects involved might have been scared off after seeing someone else in the area.

This burglary is believed to have occurred in the late evening on Sunday, Aug. 30th. On Wednesday, Sept. 2nd the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Dept. took a report of a burglary at Haven Sports Bar and Grill located at W1008 County Highway FF in the Town of Mosel.  This burglary occurred in the overnight hours of Tuesday, Sept. 1st.  Forced entry was made to the buildings and at both locations and money was stolen from gaming machines.

On Monday, August 17th the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Dept. took a report of a theft of several pieces of Farm equipment from W8837 County Highway W in the Town of Scott.  The equipment was stored outside of a barn at this location and last seen in May of 2009.  The stolen equipment included a red hay wagon, a red 7 tooth chisel plow, a reddish/ brown 55 gallon plastic drum, and a green and white field sprayer that was damaged in a fire.

On Friday, August 7th the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Dept. took a report of a theft of 25 ATV tires from Perfect Circle Tire located at W4863 Clearview Road in the Town of Lyndon.  Sometime in the first week of August at an unknown time someone came onto the property and removed 25 ATV tires.  The ATV tires were various brands and sizes, and all had a puncture repair in the sidewall.

On Wednesday, July 15th the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Dept. took a report of the THEFT of 3 bicycles at Random Lake High School located at 605 Random Lake Rd in the Village of Random Lake.  Three Mountain bikes were removed from a large equipment room at the High School at an unknown time between July 9th and July 13th.  The bikes were described as Trek, series 4, model 4300, Mountain bikes in the following sizes and colors: one 21” black and silver bike, one 21”red, black, and white bike, and one 16” red, black, and white bike.

On Monday, July 6th the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Dept. took a report of a suspicious incident involving a 13 year old girl and an unknown adult male.  At approximately 8 A.M. on Monday, July 6th a 13 year old girl was walking on De Master Rd at S. 9th St in Oostburg. A light blue 4dr SUV with a white hood and a yellow lab in the backseat stopped.  A white male, approximately in his mid 40’s, with partially balding white hair smoking a cigarette exited the SUV.  He walked up to the girl and looked her up and down, licked his lips, and then left when another vehicle approached.

On Sunday, June 21st the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Dept. took a report of a burglary to a residence in the 4500 block of Pheasant Lane in the Town of Wilson.  Sometime between 6:30 PM on Saturday, June 20th and 3:00 AM on Sunday, June 21st this unoccupied residence was entered and items were removed. Stolen items include a gray Gateway laptop computer, a green Dell laptop computer, a brown Dell laptop computer, a Nintendo Wii gaming system, an IPOD home docking station, and a gray VW Passat sedan that was driven away from the residence and later recovered in the City of Sheboygan.

On Monday, June 15th the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Department took a report of a burglary to several construction trailers parked on the grounds of the Sheboygan County Airport near the intersection of Meadowlark Rd and Woodland Rd in the Town of Sheboygan Falls.  Sometime between 1 P.M. on Sunday, June 14th and Monday, June 15th forced entry was made to the grounds and then the trailers.  A large amount of tools, power tools, various gauges of bare and black insulated copper wire spools, and other miscellaneous spools of wire were stolen.

On Monday, June 8th the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Dept. took a report of a theft of ATV.  The ATV had a “For Sale” sign on it and was parked on a property on the south side of the road in the W2100 block of County Road V in the Town of Lima. During the overnight hours of Sunday, June 7th into Monday, June 8th the ATV was stolen from this location.  The ATV was described as a black and orange 2007 Yamaha Raptor 700R with custom silver front bumpers and silver nerf bars underneath the foot pegs.

On Sunday, April 5th the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Department took a report of a burglary to SSL Industries located at N5580 Luey Lane in the Town of Plymouth.  The business was entered sometime between 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 5th and 10:30 AM on Sunday, April 6th.  Forced entry was made to building and several items were taken that include: 2 Dell computer systems, 1 Miller 110 wire welder, and a custom rotary die cutter. A company van was also taken, and later recovered at the AmericInn on Eastern Ave in Plymouth.

On Friday, April 3rd the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Department took a report of a burglary that occurred to an outbuilding at a property located in the N8200 Block of Little Elkhart Lake Rd in the Town of Rhine.  Between 12 midnight and 7:30 AM the morning of Friday, April 3rd various outbuildings were entered at the property. Multiple items were damaged and stolen.  Items taken include a silver/red 80’s Power-Maul log splitter Model GH-26, a 2007 GM navigation system, and a 2000-2005 C5 Corvette glass targa top.

On the weekend of Friday, April 17th the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Department took multiple reports of thefts from parked vehicles in the Gibbsville area, and a theft from yard at residential property. During the overnight hours on Friday, April 17th into Saturday, April 18th several parked vehicles in driveways were entered with various items stolen which include; money, a purse, a stereo, and a GPS unit.  The same night two archery targets were stolen from the back yard area of a residence also in the area.

On 04/04/09, a forced burglary at a private residence occurred in the City of Sheboygan.  The target was antique gold coins and solid gold pocket watches.  The perpetrator(s) were selective in looting.  The total amount of loss is $250,000.00 to $500,000.00.  Some of the coins were from 300 BC to 300 AD, however, the majority of the gold coins were from the 1700’s to the 1900’s.  The pocket watches were very rare and unique and were from the 1700’s to the 1900’s as well.

On Sunday, March 15th the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Department took a report of multiple semi tractors damaged with various items stolen from them in the 500 Block of N. Depot St. in the Village of Waldo.  On an unknown day and time over the Weekend of Friday, March 13th thru Sunday the 15th several Semi tractors that were parked in the 500 Block of N Depot St. had there cab windows smashed out and were entered.  Several Items were taken from the trucks including: a Garmin GPS, Panasonic MP3/CD player, and a variety of hand tools, most of which, were ratchets, sockets, and wrenches.

On Sunday, March 15th the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Department took a report of a theft of a Yamaha WaveRunner and Trailer from Majestic Storage located at N772 Sauk Trail Road in the Town of Holland.  On an unknown day in the Month of February or March the WaveRunner and trailer were taken from the property.  The WaveRunner is a Blue and White 2001 Yamaha WaveRunner model SP1200R, and the trailer is an aluminum Glacier Trailer that has a missing wheel fender and broken tail light.

On Wednesday March 11 the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department investigated a theft of items from a residential garage.  Some of the stolen items include a set of ATV ramps, two spools of wire, power tools, a Milwaukee brand circular saw, a set of Master Force sockets, and a bucket of 1 ½ inch galvanized screws.

Since the beginning of January 2009 the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Department has taken a large number of reports of vandalism caused by paintballs shot from a paintball gun out of a vehicle. Targets have included residences, parked vehicles, and road signs in the Town of Wilson, Town of Lima, and Town of Holland.  It is believed the same subjects are responsible for many, or all these incidents with most of them occurring Sunday, February 22nd thru Thursday, February 26th after dark.

On Monday, February 16th and Tuesday, February 17th the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Department took reports of two burglaries believed to be related on County Highway C in the Town of Sheboygan Falls. On or about Monday, February 16th an outbuilding was entered on a property located in the W3200 Block of County Highway C and firearms were stolen.  A residence was also entered in the W3000 Block of County Highway C with women’s jewelry and firearms being stolen.

On Thursday, January 29th the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Department took a report of a theft that occurred at the Sharon S Richardson Hospice Home located at W2850 State Highway 28 in the Town of Lima.  A television was removed from a children’s playroom at this facility at an unknown date and time sometime prior to Thursday, January 29th.  The television was described as a 32 inch flat screen Toshiba television equipped with a DVD player.

On Friday, January 2nd the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Department took a report of a burglary that occurred at Bummy’s Haus located at 1209 Millersville Av in the Village of Howards Grove.  Forced entry was made to the building between 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 1st and 7:00 A.M. on Friday, January 2nd.  Upon gaining entry cash was stolen from the business.

On Wednesday, January 22nd the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Dept. took a report of a Burglary and Theft at Weiss Implement located at 109 West Main Street in the Village of Glenbeulah.  Between the dates of Saturday, January 17th and Thursday, January 22nd a Snowmobile was removed from a shed on the Business property.  The Snowmobile was identified as a black and red 1996 Polaris Indy 500 Snowmobile.  It also had displayed a WI Snowmobile Registration sticker of 4049TH. This sticker could, however, be easily removed.

On Sunday, January 4th the Sheboygan Sheriff’s Dept. took a report of a Burglary and Theft at the Sportsman’s Bar & Grill located at 436 South Main St. in the Village of Cedar Grove. The Business was entered through a window sometime between 2 am and 8 am the morning of Sunday, January 4th.  Cash was taken including a large amount of coins that include: Susan B Anthony Dollars, Sacagawea dollars, and 50 cent pieces.

Type of Crime: DOUBLE HOMICIDE

On November 30th, 1988, 75 year old Edward and 73 year old Frances Cizauskas were found murdered at their Town of Sheboygan property.  The couple ran a scrap metal business called Eddie's Jalopy Jungle which was on the same property as their residence, located at 2215 Mill Rd. 

Authorities feel confident that the subjects responsible for these murders have talked to people who have information and have either not been asked or were reluctant previously to provide that information.  The Sheriff's Department is asking for those people to do the right thing and come forward with this information.
